Vitality Village is primed and ready to begin construction, with our first ‘villagers’ looking to move into their spaces within 12 months of commencement.

We are beyond excited to announce Vitality Village, new project that will bring together community service providers, industry leaders and the innovation community, to creatively collaborate to make a significant and enduring impact on the health and well-being of our communities.

Vitality Village is a multi-storey community space that will be a dynamic model for health and wellbeing which Be is constructing in the Sunshine Coast Health Precinct. It is an amazing project that will be a first for Australia, and one of only a few similar models in the world. This project is a year in the making and aims to tackle the challenging areas of mental health, disability services, aged care, isolation and loneliness.

The innovative project aims to disrupt the health sector, deliver substantial cost savings to the national health budget and ultimately achieve better outcomes for Australians facing complex health challenges. It sounds ambitious, but that’s the point! We want to turn the delivery of health and community care on its head.

With an ageing population and rising health bill, Vitality Village is a game changer for not just the Sunshine Coast but a platform that can be rolled out across Australia.

Vitality Village tenants or ‘villagers’ will work collaboratively to develop creative and game-changing products and services from concept to commercialisation.

Construction is scheduled to commence in early 2020, with completion expected within 12 months of commencement.
